We’ve added another layer of support within the middle school program this year. Grade-level deans for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will be providing leadership in developing the advisory curriculum and supporting student success.
In addition to advisors and administration, deans are positioned to help ensure students have spaces and places to seek guidance and support during the school day. They will have special focus on the social-emotional learning components of our program and the academic progress of students in their grade level. They will also help in rolling out grade-level specific programs, events, and activities.
Dan Stieber will be serving as the 6th Grade Dean. Dan is in his fifth year at Bentley as the 6th-grade English teacher. He is also a Grade 8 advisor this year. dstieber@bentleyschool.org
