At Bentley, students and teachers strive for a balance of academic strength and growth as well as meaningful engagement in the community beyond the classroom.

Bentley School students are serious about their studies, but the joy of learning, growing, and pursuing personal interests isn’t just academic. With nearly 40 available clubs and activities, our students are certain to find something to be passionate about.

Upper School students create and run their own clubs and activities, with the assistance of faculty advisors, and almost every student is involved in at least one of them. In the process, they develop leadership skills while enjoying an activity that’s personally meaningful. At all grade levels, clubs, electives, student government, and team sports provide students with opportunities to explore their interests and talents as well as develop leadership, cooperation, responsibility, and self-discipline.

Clubs & Activities

The following is an example list of clubs and activities for Middle and Upper School students at Bentley. Many of these clubs have existed for years, while others are newer and based on student interest at the time. Students wishing to start a club may present a proposal in the spring with the support of a faculty adviser.

“My time at Bentley was a great balance of academic rigor and social activity. My teachers created a supportive environment to excel in my classes while participating on the swim team and serving as President of the Mental Health Awareness Club.”
