7th Grade Act as Time Travel Agents

7th grade history students are concluding a project on African Empires. Their presentations are the culmination of a project-based learning experience. After deciding which empire to study, students created open-ended questions to guide research. Our librarian, Ms. Bourland, was an incredibly helpful collaborator. She supported the 7th graders with strategies to create research questions and taught them how to navigate the Bentley databases for information.

The presentations are meant to serve as an educational experience on the history of their empire, though ultimately, students were tasked to act as travel agents and work to propose trips back in time for their peers.
