Empowering Black History Narratives: Linda Wright's Inspiring Storytelling Journey

This past Friday, Bentley students were fortunate to have special guest Linda Wright, a former educator and master storyteller, visit during our PACT Assembly to share one of her stories in celebration of Black History Month. Through her portrayal of Coretta Scott King, she illuminated Mrs. King's life work after Dr. King's death, leaving students fully engaged and hanging on to her every word. (Ms. Wright is more importantly known as Isley's (5th) and Lennox's (K) Aunt.)

Ms. Wright has traveled extensively, captivating audiences of both students and adults across the Bay Area with her stories. She even once enlisted the help of a young Isley, who was five years old, during a presentation at the Benicia Library. Welcome to Bentley, Ms. Wright!
