Jumping for Joy: Bentley's Annual Kids Heart Challenge

Today, our 2nd-5th grade students came together for an exhilarating rope-jumping extravaganza in support of the American Heart Association. The activity had students take turns jumping rope to a musical accompaniment. Approximately one-third of the students in each grade jumped together as they cycled through five-minute periods of active participation. There was a lot of jumping and a lot of fun!

While fundraising for the event was entirely voluntary, it historically made a significant impact, raising over $190,000 since 1990 for AHA's vital research and programs. This year's event held special significance as we dedicated it to the memory of beloved former faculty member Peter Phillips and we raised about $3800 this year.
