Upper School French Students Participate in Le Grand Concours
All students taking French this year were invited to register for the National French Contest (Le Grand Concours); a tiered national exam that assesses students' comprehension of written and spoken French. 96% of all French students at Bentley decided to participate in the two-part test at the end of March.
In Town Meeting, the twelve students who achieved a "Mérite,” a mention, the eleven students who achieved an Honorable Mention, and the seven students who achieved a National Medal in their respective category were acknowledged.
The Bronze Award went to Sophia S. and Charlie M. both in Level 1, Lillian J. in Level 3, and James S. for AP.
Elis S. (in Fr1) and Sammy K. (in AP French Lang. & Culture) received a much-deserved National Silver Medal.
Finally, Ivo B. (in Fr4) achieved a National Gold Medal as he was above the 95th percentile in his category.
Congratulations to all participants. This was the best gift for Teacher Appreciation Week!
