Women’s soccer continued their roll this week, defeating Redwood Christian 5-0 on Tuesday to improve to 7-1-1 overall and 4-1 in league play. The Phoenix will host Drew this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in what is sure to be an exciting match-up. Bentley defeated Drew in last year’s North Coast Section championship game.
This past Friday’s Spirit Night was one for the books; hundreds of fans donning their Bentley spirit gear packed the gym to watch the Phoenix take on Valley Christian in four back-to-back basketball games. The theme of the evening was ‘All Gold Everything’ as a nod to Bentley’s centennial year. The Bentley community showed up; and to cap off the excitement, the Phoenix swept the Vikings:
· Middle School Girl’s 32-25
o Highlights – Grace Cannizzo (’25) 15 pts.
· Middle School Boy’s 37-28
o Highlights – Mason Brooks (’24) 12 pts.
· Women’s Varsity 51-31
o Highlights – Olivia Anderson (’21) 12 pts., Alex Wechser (’21) 12 pts.
· Men’s Varsity 66-55
o Highlights – Dylan DeMarco (’21) 21 pts., Josiah Smith (’21) 22 pts.
Between the Upper School games, the community recognized our senior basketball players for their commitment and dedication to their respective programs over the years.
