Over 160 Upper School students suited up for the start of spring sports this Monday. This year marks Bentley's inaugural year of women's lacrosse and excitement over the new sport offering is high. With over 20 student-athletes on the roster, we look forward to seeing this program flourish.
Following a tough loss at Head-Royce last Friday, the women's team will look to finish our league play on a high note. They host St. Joseph Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. With this being the final match of the regular season, the team will honor their five seniors for their commitment and service to their program.
Men's & women's varsity basketball begin league tournament playoffs this week. The women's team finished 3rd in league and will play at Head-Royce at 5:00 p.m. this evening, while the men's team finished 4th and will travel to St. Joseph Notre Dame for a 4:30 p.m. match this evening. Should either team win this evening's semifinals match-up, they will play for the league tournament championship this Saturday at Redwood Christian.
All of our winter varsity teams will move on to the North Coast Section playoffs, which will be played over February Break. Follow our Bentley Athletics Twitter Account for timely playoff updates.
