NACLO Open Round

Seven Bentley students spent Thursday last week solving language puzzles from around the globe. Each year, Bentley participates in the North American Computational Linguistic Olympiad. This competition takes place across the United States and Canada and asks students to analyze the language, grammar, writing, and social contexts of languages ranging from English to Walpiri (an indigenous Australian language) to modern Japanese to computer codes that interpret human speech.

Stay tuned: Invitations will go out later this Spring for NACLO's invitational round!
