For the past two years in 6th Grade Science, Mr. Yar has coached students through a Science Buddies engineering challenge. This year’s challenge was to build a car powered by a rubber band out of a limited number of materials. The further the car traveled and the fewer materials used to build the car, each accounted for a higher score. After several classes of trial and error, experimentation, and lots of fun working together, the cars raced!
The final race between winners from each of the three class sections faced off in last week’s Town Meeting. Congratulations to all, but especially to this year's winners, Aaron C. and Bryant C.!
