2nd Grade Science and Art Project Takes Flight

Our industrious 2nd graders have recently completed an engaging science and art project centered around California birds. They delved into thorough research on various bird species, exploring their habitats, behaviors, and unique characteristics. To enrich their learning experience, the students embarked on an enriching field trip to the scenic Hayward Shoreline, where they had the opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural environment.

In addition to their scientific discoveries, our budding artists honed their skills in art class by mastering intricate ink brush techniques. Guided by their creativity and newfound knowledge, they poured their hearts into crafting stunning bird paintings that vividly capture the essence of each species. These captivating artworks now adorn the walls of our library, serving as a testament to the students' dedication and talent. When on campus, we invite you to come by and marvel at their impressive creations!
