Butterflies and Ladybugs in 1st Grade

1st grade is growing butterflies and ladybugs! They have been in the classroom for 15 days, and currently, 1F has 8 chrysalises and 1 caterpillar. 1W's caterpillars are starting metamorphosis as well.

Students are making daily observations as they learn about life cycles in science class. Check out some pics to the right. We are hoping to release some fully grown butterflies and ladybugs by the end of the school year.
