The Animal Conservation Elective Work on a "B" Garden
Students in the Animal Conservation elective are working on a planting plan for the Bentley "Bee" garden - the bed with the Bentley "B" in it as you climb the stairs. Students felt that it could be improved with the addition of native plants for pollinators and would also improve and stabilize the soil as well as add to the impression of the school for visitors. It's an example of using land for nature and our own needs—a concept that's really important in conservation.
