Welcome to Bentley Kindergartners and New Students
On Monday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new Lower School Families to the Hiller campus for our Annual New Family Orientation.
It was a fantastic opportunity for every new student to get acquainted with their teachers and explore their new classrooms. They kicked off their journeys together with a special classroom meeting, where they delved into the concept of family and the importance of togetherness. To enhance their understanding, they enjoyed a heartwarming read of "Our Class Is A Family" by Shannon Olsen, sparking a lively discussion about how they could create a family-like atmosphere in their classroom.
Putting their creativity to work, they crafted unique class family bracelets, each one carefully designed with beads representing every student, two apple beads to honor their teachers, and a special "K" to symbolize their Kindergarten adventure. To wrap up this exciting day, they eagerly anticipated the upcoming thrill of playing together on the playground as they gear up for the days ahead.
