Bringing New Life to the Library
Over the summer, we enhanced the Hiller Library to bring about a more vibrant Learning Commons filled with new novels, chapter books, nonfiction research books, graphic novels, puzzles, and more.
Students are already putting books on hold (they may start checking out books next week), finding nooks perfect for bookscaping (escaping into a book), trying to find Waldo, trying to solve the hand puzzles on my desk, sharing favorite titles with each other, and doing homework after school. Our new Librarian, Julia Bourland, looks forward to getting to know each student this year and learning what they love to read.
